History:
Rhiannon grew up in a small village near Rayla, where her father served as a soldier in the Raylan army. As a soldier, her father didn’t make much money and Rhiannon and her parents struggled through many hard times. Rhiannon was also known and “Ree” by many who were close to her and actually preferred to be called by that name than by her real name. Being an only child, Ree had always been competitive and showed a great deal of strength and courage throughout her early years.

She had a great deal of pride and respect of her fathers position, because although it was a low ranking position, he still tried his best to be as loyal and faithful to the army as possible and she saw him as a hero. Being a child, her parents were the very meaning of hero. It was a tragic blow to find that she was fatherless at the age of thirteen. Her father seemingly died in battle and was convicted of being a traitor to the Raylan army just before his death. Someone had accused him of giving away secrets to a rival house for money and a better position when if fact, he had been blackmailed. Ree would never believe that her father had betrayed the Raylan army and has been fighting for his good name ever since.

With no one else able to provide for the family and her mother too weak to work to provide for the well being of their family, Ree enlisted in the Rayla royal guard at the age of fourteen against her mother’s will. Several years later, after heard work and much dedication, she became not only the advisor but also a distinguished knight, one of the few people in whom Edgard really trusted. There have been rumors about her having an affair with him, which would have been how she got to such a high ranking position in the first place, but she got that far on her own.

At the age of twenty, she’s been assigned to personally guard the heir to Rayla and has been traveling with her. [Since her travels, she has been sent to study and spy on the Keir/Sylea situation with only Lord Edgard’s knowledge. She was captured when working on spying on a village near Slyea and was tortured by Lord Jarek of Sylea until she saw a chance of escape and took it. She is currently back in Rayla and is preparing for war.]


Personality:
Ree has always been charming and bright, but lacked a sense of romance. A man could be coming on to her with full force and Ree wouldn’t know it if he got down on his knees and ask her for her hand. She would simply be confused and ask him what in the world he would need her hand for. Although Ree hasn’t been able to find the right man, or rather, can’t see all the suitors that are right in front of her eyes. She feels quite lonely and frustrated by the fact that no man wants to be with her.

She seems to intimidate many of the men due to her high ranking position, and possibly partially due to the rumors of her affair with the Lord as well. She is very outgoing and talkative, always ready to strike a conversation. Her cheerful and childish nature helps her get along with most people and it also helps give her a bit of a mask. Many who don’t know her underestimate what she’s capable of and don’t know how smart and witty she is underneath her cheerful demeanor. When the time comes and there is a need for her, she becomes very businesslike and fully aware of her surroundings, able to pull out a charismatic charm. Ree is an excellent listener and gives great advice, although she may at times need to take her own advice into consideration.


Appearance:
Ree is anything but an average woman standing at 5’3”. Although she is fully developed, and well developed at that, her face is that of a fifteen year old. This innocent angelic look seems to come in as quite an advantage when she is in battle or is being persuasive. Although she may look small and helpless, she has the skills of a full grown man that has been training all his life. She has long pinkish hair that curl a bit at the edge, creating a wavelike appearance and big brown eyes that just emphasize how innocent she appears.
